A free afternoon of reggae, roots and dub-inspired music will launch Distillery Road Market’s 2026 music festival series, closing out the month of May.
Reggae by the River will be held at Distillery Road Market at Eagleby, running from 3pm-9.30pm on Saturday, 30 May.
The all-ages event is the first of four genre-driven music festivals planned for the precinct between May and November, with Blues on the Bayou, IndieFest and Countrified to follow later in the year.
This year’s Reggae by the River lineup includes DJ Mako, Black Bird Hum, Kurilpa Reach, Sunny Coast Rude Boys, The Strides and Sub Tribe.
The program will begin with Black Bird Hum from 3pm, followed by Kurilpa Reach at 4.20pm, Sunny Coast Rude Boys at 5.40pm, The Strides at 7.05pm and Sub Tribe from 8.30pm.
The 2026 festival series will continue its focus on accessible live entertainment, bringing together families, friends and music lovers in a community-focused setting.
Reggae by the River would showcase both established and emerging artists from Australia’s reggae scene, spanning classic reggae influences through to contemporary roots and dub sounds.
Distillery Road Market is at 124 Distillery Road, Eagleby.
