An easter egg hunt for will be held at Tygum Park in Waterford West from 9am on Saturday, 28 March.
Children who take part will collect a stamp sheet and follow clues around the park to find hidden golden eggs.
Each egg earns a stamp and, once participants collect all five stamps, they can exchange the completed sheet for a prize.
Organiser and Member for Waterford Shannon Fentiman said the event was designed as a simple outdoor activity for local families, with children encouraged to explore the park while following the trail.
Registration is required for the Waterford Community Easter Egg Hunt because places are limited. Only children participating in the activity need to be registered.
Each registered child will receive a prize at the end of the hunt.
The event is expected to draw families from across the Waterford area for a morning of Easter-themed activities and a chance for children to take part in the egg hunt.
