The death of a man in Waterford West last night has led to the dramatic arrest of a Beenleigh man, 33, who has this afternoon been charged with murder.
Police today released footage of the man’s arrest:
At about 6.35pm last night (Monday), police were called to a carpark at Chambers Flat Road, following reports a man had been found dead.
He was 39.
A second crime scene was declared at a Logan Reserve house where police said they were investigating the circumstances of the man’s deal.
Police said there was no ongoing threat to the public.
Earlier today, a police statement said a 33-year-old man was helping with the investigation. He has since been charged with murder.
Police said he has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Beenleigh Magistrates Court tomorrow, March 11.
