Raycott Homes property developer Rohit Kumar said deciding to sell 64A Dennis Road was not easy.
“The layout design and everything, including the kitchen, the finishes … it’s top of the range,” Mr Kumar said.
“I don’t want to sell it. “It’s just a little bit of a small block for us [his family].”
The two-storey house sits on 436sqm and includes five bedrooms, including two master suites, one intended for guests and a larger main bedroom upstairs.
A separate living area upstairs allows for some division between spaces, Mr Kumar said.
Construction on the house was completed in January after about a year of building work.
Mr Kumar said the project began as a from-scratch build, with a focus on layout and materials.
Inside, natural stone features throughout and two fireplaces sit in different living zones.
Outside, the property includes a heated magnesium pool with a tiled finish and waterfall feature, as well as a covered barbecue, kitchen and bar area.
“It does have a fully tiled pool and water feature,” Mr Kumar said. “And a 19.6 kilowatt solar system.”
He said more than 80 people attended the first open inspection.
“Everyone was taking photos,” Mr Kumar said. “It was being in a tourist place somewhere.”
Despite the early interest, Mr Kumar said the size of the land would not suit his own circumstances.
“We have two businesses and seven or eight cars,” Mr Kumar said. “This is good for someone who doesn’t need a bigger block of land.”
