A man has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly stabbing another man in the chest at Park Ridge.
Police allege a fight broke out between a Regents Park man, 27, and a Park Ridge man, 35, on a Bark Street property at about 10pm on 5 December.
The Regents Park man was then stabbed in the chest, police allege, before being taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital.
“Police arrested a Park Ridge man at the address and located a knife which is alleged to have been used during the altercation,” a police statement read.
“It will be further alleged the pair were known to each other.”
The Park Ridge man has since been charged with one count of attempted murder.
He was due to appear before Brisbane Magistrates Court on 6 December.
