Spooky season begins in Logan

Things are about to get spooky in Logan.

Halloween will kick off this year with ‘Batty Halloween’, a spooky-themed event at Noyer Park, Mt Warren Park, where locals can meet a flying fox and check out one of the city’s flying fox roosts.

The event, held from 4pm to 6.15pm on 25 October and coinciding with International Bat Week, will be attended by members of the volunteer-run bat rescue and rehabilitation organisation, Bats Queensland, along with one of their educational flying-foxes and bat mascot Luna.

It will also include family activities and a free sausage sizzle. Tickets can be bought via lccqld.com/EcoLogan.

Next up is the Beenleigh Historical Village and Museum’s 2025 Spooky Fair.

This is a free night market, running from 5pm to 8pm on 25 October. However, a trick-or-treat trail the entire family can enjoy will require tickets.

These can be purchased via the Beenleigh Historical Village and Museum Facebook page.

That same night, on the other side of the city at Flagstone, the Spooktacular Twilight Markets are returning to 1-45 Poinciana Drive.

Here, organisers are promising “Halloween magic” with unique stalls, treats, and more from 4pm.

Over at Everleigh Park, Greenbank, on the night of Halloween, 31 October, a Halloween-themed disco party will be held from 4.30pm to 7.30pm.
