A man has died after crashing an electric scooter at Waterford on Sunday afternoon (September 6).
Preliminary information indicates the 40-year-old Sunshine Coast man was travelling on the scooter south along High Street when he lost control before hitting a pole.
He suffered significant injuries as a result of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
