The Greenpark Garden Club will bloom over high tea this month at their upcoming general meeting.
Held on Monday 28 October, the meeting will be themed ‘high tea’.
The morning event will start a 9.30am at Park Ridge Baptist Church, and run until 11.30am.
Guests have been asked to bring a small plate of food to suit a high tea and a fascinator.
There will be a ‘best fascinator competition’, $50 note and plant raffles, and opportunities to purchases plants from local growers.
This month’s guest speaker will give insights on geraniums and pelargoniums.
Entry costs $4.
While there is no bus trip on this month, members of the club often embark on day trips to grab lunch and socialise.
In July the group headed to Toogoolawah for a Christmas in July luncheon.
The club does a bus trip like this on the fourth Monday of each month, for $35 per person.
