A staff member from the Queensland Police Service’s specialist operations team is set to face Beenleigh Magistrates Court next month after allegedly “supplying dangerous drugs”.
Police said in a statement that the 49-year-old female staff member was off duty at the time of the alleged offence, and has been suspended from the QPS.
She is expected to appear in court on 21 August 2024.
“In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency, and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when a member of the Service faces serious allegations of misconduct,” police said.
