A cinemas at Browns Plains is closing its doors after three decades of screenings.
The Event Cinemas at the Grand Plaza in Browns Plains has announced it will screen its final film on 26 September.
“EVT’s tenancy at Event Cinemas Browns Plains in Grand Plaza Shopping Centre will cease trading on 26 September 2024,” an Event Cinemas statement said.
“EVT has been proud to operate Event Cinemas in Browns Plains for 30 years and would like to thank the many customers who have visited us to enjoy the experience of movies on the big screen.
“Local Browns Plains residents can still enjoy the Event Cinemas experience at nearby Loganholme, Springfield, or Mt Gravatt.”
