A “seriously injured” teenager, who police believe was seriously assaulted, was found laying in the middle of the road at Beenleigh on Wednesday night (26 June).
Police say emergency services were called to the intersection of Alamein Street and Savages Parade around 11pm following reports of “a male laying in the middle of the road”.
Upon arrival, police found a 17-year-old Beenleigh boy with serious injuries.
“He was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition,” a police statement said.
“Officers are appealing to any witnesses or anyone with footage of the area, including dashcam and CCTV, to contact police.”
Investigations are ongoing.
