Quota Jimboomba dropped off gifts at the Queensland Children’s Hospital earlier this month to comfort families staying there.
The group spent the day in the hospital’s cardiac unit, when they spoke with a local not-for-profit, HeartKids, which supports families impacted by childhood-onset heart disease
To the children, they gifted a range of craft and educational items, as well as some soft toys.
The Quota team also donated a microwave to the parents so they can sterilize bottles and prepare breast milk and bottle formula.
“We learned so much by speaking with Simone (from HeartKids) and the mums, and they were extremely grateful for our donations,” the Quota crew said.
“We know that all of the donations will be put to good use, and it is great that we can offer this type of support.”
