The Logan M.A.D. Woodcrafters is a woodworking club for men and women.
Located at Loganholme, the group’s workshop is a craftsperson’s dream, featuring all the tools and equipment needed to have fun wood turning, box making, furniture making, wood carving and scroll sawing.
The group’s members, which sits at anywhere between 70-100 people, use large and small lathes, band saws, compound mitre saws, drum sanders and vertical spindle sanders, and more.
The workshop is open on Monday, Tuesday and Friday each week during the day, and on Tuesday nights and Saturdays for those who work during the week.
The Woodcrafters team also makes around 500-600 toys for charities each year.
“We encourage members new and old to share their skills and passions about new and different woodworking activities with other club members,” club member Barry Hill said.
The club meets at 16-18 Burchill Street, Loganholme.
