Motorcyclist, 52, dies after Jimboomba crash

A motorcycle rider died on Thursday (25 January) after veering off the road and crashing at Jimboomba.

Police believe the rider, a 52-year-old Greenbank man, was travelling north along the Mount Lindsay Highway at 2.10pm when he “left the roadway and crashed”.

The man’s injuries were critical and he died shortly afterwards.

Forensic Crash Unit investigators are appealing to any witnesses, particularly a second motorcyclist on an orange bike, seen in the area at the time, to contact police.
