Bootcamp for Men

Build strength, flexibility and fitness with a range of exercises in a fun and social environment for men every Saturday from 5am to 6am at F4L RXD, 33-43 Meakin Road, Meadowbrook.

The fitness class is suitable for 12 years and above with all skill levels catered to.

Participants are asked to bring enclosed shoes, a water bottle, towel and hat.

Each class is $5.

Logan Art Gallery Opening Night

Mayor Darren Power and councillors of the City of Logan invite you to the opening of new exhibitions at Logan Art Gallery on Thursday 1 February at Wembley Rd & Jacaranda Avenue, Logan Central from 6pm.

The event is free and suitable for all ages.

Exhibitions on display until 2 March.

Park After Dark – Froggy Adventures

Come along for a free family fun walk and accompany a frog expert of a real wildlife survey on Friday 2 February from 6:45pm to 8:45pm at Berrinba Wetlands, Wayne Goss Drive, Browns Plains.

You will receive a crash course in frogs before venturing out into the night to see what we can find and document.

Please wear fully long pants, long-sleeved shirt and enclosed shoes and bring a water bottle, a torch and a fully charged mobile device with FrogID app downloaded.

Bookings required for all attendees.

Children’s Printmaking Workshop

Join Sue Poggioli and translate your drawing of family or friends into a dry-point etching with this workshop at Logan Art Gallery on Saturday 3 February from 10am.

The three-hour workshop will teach you how to use water-based etching inks and the printing press to create multiple prints.

Children aged seven and above are invited to attend.

Please bring a family or friend group photograph; can be digital.

Xtreme Hip Hop Step

Join this 18 + music-based fitness program made up of step aerobics, cardio and strength workouts, moving to the sweet rhythm of the latest R&B HipHop sounds.

Occurring each Saturday from 7:10am to 8:10am at Logan Metro Sports & Events Centre, 357 Browns Plains Road, Crestmead, the cost of each class is $5.
