A local motorbike rider is in critical condition after colliding with a car at Hillcrest on Thursday afternoon.
The 45-year-old Regents Park man was travelling along Johnson Road, near Elliot Court, at around 5.30pm when he collided with a car.
He was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.
Police are investigating the crash, and say the rider is suffering from “life threatening injuries”.
The driver and sole occupant of the car, a 30-year-old Loganlea man, was transported to hospital as a precaution.
Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam vision or CCTV from the area to come forward.
Investigations are continuing.
