A local teenager was hunted by the police dog squad after allegedly stabbing two men at Mount Warren Park on Monday 1 October.
Police believe that two 16-year-old boys were walking along Cramer Boulevard at around 4.40pm when a fight broke-out between them and two men, aged 26 and 27.
One of the teens allegedly pulled out a knife.
“At some point during the incident, the two men have both received stab wounds,” a police statement read.
The dog squad tracked down the armed 16-year-old, who police say was a short distance away.
The two men were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A 16-year-old boy has been charged with one count each of acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm and wounding.
