Local kids have access to a range of sustainable and environmentally friendly activities at Logan libraries this school holidays.
Children 11-years and older can build power banks in a basic electronics workshop with local social enterprise PowerWells – which creates affordable energy from repurposed batteries to assist remote communities in developing countries.
Primary school children can participate in workshops led by worm farmer, educator and author Brian Donaldson – also known as The Worm Man, – who will teach how to create a mini worm farm to take home complete with
live worms.
