Savoury and sweet treats will be available to locals attending the market day at Logan East Community Neighbourhood Centre this Saturday 26 August.
The centre’s quarterly event will offer a range of stalls, including:
- home-made preserves: jams and pickles
- hand-made cards and craft supplies
- books
- sweets: cupcakes, slices, tarts and cookies
- flowers: fresh bunches and dried/preserved arrangements
- women’s clothing and fashion
- plants
- a sausage sizzle
- and raffle prizes, $2 per ticket.
Event volunteer Lisa Truong, who will have a cupcake stall on the day, said all proceeds from the community centre’s stalls and all stallholder fees would go towards the continuous running of its programs.
This free event will run from 8-11.30am at 55 Cinderella Drive, Springwood.
