Berrinba bush ramble for nature lovers

Join the Australian Conservation Foundation (AFC) for a ‘Bush Ramble’ at the Berrinba Wetlands.

The ACF Brisbane South & Logan team will be getting up close to the Berrinba Wetlands this Sunday (2 July) with a bush walk.

ACF Brisbane South & Logan’s David Costello said these wetlands were home to hundreds of species of water birds and flowering plants.

“Spring is on the way!” Mr Costello said.

“Berrinba Wetlands is a nature lover’s haven in the heart of Logan.

“Join us as we ramble through these beautiful wetlands and get close to nature.”

The crew will meet near the picnic shelter on Wayne Goss Drive at Browns Plains at 7.45am.

The Bush Ramble ends at 10am.

Registrations are essential via Humanitix.com. Numbers are limited.

The event organisers ask that participants bring: water, a hat, sunscreen, binoculars and cameras if you have them, and a flask of tea or coffee and a snack for after the walk.
