Construction leads the way as the largest industry in Logan according to the latest report out of the Logan City Council office of economic development.
An analysis of the output by industry sectors in the City of Logan in 2021/22 shows the four largest industries were:
- Construction ($5.90 billion or 22.5%)
- Manufacturing ($3.68 billion or 14%)
- Health Care and Social Assistance ($2.19 billion or 8.3%)
- Transport, Postal and Warehousing (1.88 billion or 7.2%)
In combination, these four industries accounted for $13.65 billion in total or 52% of the total output by total industry in Logan.
Emerging industries include Retail Trade (+266.4 million over 5 years), Wholesale Trade (+182 million over 5 years), Rental, Hiring and Real Estate Services (+87.9 million over 5 years), and Education and Training (+8.2 million over 5 years).
