Deaf Lawn Bowls Queensland is hosting a ‘come and try’ day down at Beenleigh Bowls Club on Sunday (May 7).
President Brian Taylor said the event would be a fantastic day with plenty to do for everyone.
“This will be a great fun day for the families to meet and greet to enjoy this wonderful event,” Mr Taylor said.
“We’d love to have new members, whether they’re social or competitive.”
For those who have never played, Mr Taylor said the day would be a great time to learn.
Even more experienced players seeking a competitive edge have lots to look forward to, with the current squad preparing to head to Scotland for the world titles.
On Sunday, there will be a free sausage sizzle and a lucky number raffle.
The event starts at 10am and finishes at 12pm. It costs $5 per player.
