Full day motorcycle training

SMART Rider Academy are hosting a full day motorcycle training course this Saturday 29 April.

Participants will learn essential riding skills to minimise the risks of riding, including how to corner better and brake effectively, how to master slow speed turns and how to choose the best riding gear.

The day will include: a classroom session that covers common rider errors and how to avoid them (such as why motorcycles are often not seen by other road users), a skills session to sharpen low speed skills, and a mentored road ride under the guidance of SMART instructors and QPS Highway Patrol officers.

The course in run in conjunction with Queensland police and is subsidised by the state government.

The full-day event costs $50 and will be held at Jimboomba State School, running from 9am-4pm.
