A child is in serious condition after being attacked by two dogs in Woodridge on Monday afternoon.
The six-year-old girl was climbing the fence of a property on Ormesby Street when the dogs grabbed her and dragged her into the yard.
She sustained significant abdominal, chest and shoulder injuries, and was taken to Queensland Children’s Hospital.
The girl’s uncle, in his 20s, was also bitten while trying to rescue her.
He sustained leg injuries and was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
Logan City Council said the dogs were not registered and were taken to the council’s animal management centre.
