Older, slower and safer
There were recent comments in the media regarding the licensing of a 95 year old driver..
The questioning was if an aged person should be permitted a licence..
I might suggest that aged people have good records compared to the majority of drivers due to their extensive driving experience.
At 85 years I must support the 95 year old,,,they also drive slower.

Random act of kindness
I was the recipient of a random act of kindness, last Monday at Hyperdome Aldi.
I was in the checkout queue when I noticed a lady come behind me with only a small quiche.
I said that she could go ahead of me as I had quite a lot of shopping and so she did with thanks.
I was very surprised that when she purchased her quiche she gave $20 to the cashier and told him to take that off my bill.
I was very surprised and rather overwhelmed but extremely grateful to this lovely lady with the auburn straight hair and no name.
Thank you so much for making my day, never mind that, my whole week. Thanks a million, may someone do likewise for you.

Banks make it difficult
Not only have ANZ banks closed most of the branches, but all the ATMs.
Today I tried to transfer from my account to credit card and not one ATM had that option, so I was forced to go to Browns Plains branch and make the transfer inside the bank.
Even they had removed the ATM outside the bank
