B&C Plastics has taken out the biggest prize at the 2022 Logan Business Distinction Awards.
The Meadowbrook-based plastic injection moulding business has expanded its capacity by adopting new machinery and state-of-the-arts robotics.
In other big awards, Wheelnutz Garage won the “inclusiveness” category for supporting people with disabilities to learn new skills and prepare them for new jobs.
Honey product producer Bee All Natural won the “sustainability” category with its ethical, sustainable and organic principles, and a philosophy to put their bees ahead of profits and exploitation.
A photography company started by unemployed pilots won the “new and emerging business”.
Real estate firm DMH Realty won the “community contribution” category for their involvement with a number of local organisations, either as committee members or directors.
Bathcalm’s QR Code on the packaging of their bath relaxation products, guiding buyers through individually composed guided meditations won them the “innovation” award.
Moov’n Coffee was given the “judges’ encouragement” award.
