Last week’s edition (June 28-July 4) contained eye-boggling spending by the State Government.
Just as eye-boggling are the incredible growth of the Park Ridge “Development” Road potholes.
As fast as they are “repaired” they literally bounce back after the very next shower.
What a pity that our council and state expenditures fail, again, to mention the absolute necessity of completely replacing the present bush road (I have travelled on better roads in the bush!), with the four lane road that will safely handle the present non-stop heavy, tradie and local vehicle traffic this year – not in the Never-Never.
This track is especially dangerous at dawn and sunset, let alone the constant hammering on all vehicle’s suspension and tyres.
How many voters live along/travel via this disgrace?
Maybe we will find out in the next election/s.
