Brian and Margaret Blaney, of Logan Reserve, recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with family at the Club Hotel, Waterford.
Tributes and congratulations were received from Queen Elizabeth and other dignitaries.
Mr Blaney sent the following note and pictures:
“Our 60th wedding anniversary celebration draws to a close. It has been my privilege to have shared the journey with such a caring fine lady.
“Our thanks go to everyone who shared their company, kind thoughts, messages, cards and gifts for us to preserve this memorable occasion.”
